There are plenty that let let me SEARCH for free but then they want money in exchange for the info. Please, does anyone have a website with free info? I will pick a best answer!!

HE wasn’t a minor when he was convicted and it was before I met him. I met him several years after his release. I didn’t know much about it. Nor did he tell me. No one else will say. I can’t afford a private investigator. I can’t pay for a background check because i can’t find the name. How can I find this info and shouldn’t it be public record?
